Terms of Service

Effective date: February 16, 2026 · Last updated: February 16, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RHT Compass (rhtcompass.com) and its subdomains (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Platform is operated by VisionWrights, LLC (“VisionWrights,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Georgia limited liability company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

RHT Compass is a data intelligence platform that integrates publicly available federal data sources to provide hospital profiles, county health dashboards, financial benchmarks, access gap analysis, and grant tracking for rural hospitals across the United States. The Platform may also include AI-powered query features, interactive dashboards, and assessment tools.

3. Not a Government Website

RHT Compass is not a government website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or any other federal, state, or local government agency. Data displayed on the Platform is sourced from publicly available federal datasets and has been processed, aggregated, and analyzed by VisionWrights.

4. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer

THE INFORMATION ON THIS PLATFORM IS PROVIDED FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

  • Not professional advice: Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical, financial, legal, or policy advice. Do not make clinical, investment, operational, or policy decisions based solely on data presented here. Always consult qualified professionals for decisions affecting patient care, hospital operations, or public health programs.
  • Data currency: Federal data sources are updated on varying schedules (quarterly, annually, or less frequently). Data on the Platform may not reflect the most recent conditions. Hospital status, financial performance, and health metrics change over time.
  • Processing and aggregation: Raw federal data has been cleaned, standardized, and aggregated by VisionWrights. This processing may introduce differences from the original source data. County-level and state-level summaries are computed averages and may not reflect any individual facility or community.
  • Completeness: Not all hospitals, counties, or data fields may be represented. Federal reporting gaps, delayed filings, and data quality issues in source datasets may result in missing or incomplete information.

For authoritative data, we encourage users to consult the original federal sources directly. Source attributions are provided throughout the Platform and on our Data Sources page.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Platform may include AI-powered features, including a natural language query interface that uses OpenAI's GPT-4o model to translate questions into database queries and synthesize answers. AI-generated responses:

  • May contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations
  • May misinterpret your question or return incomplete results
  • Are not reviewed by a human before delivery
  • Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision
  • May produce different answers to the same question on different occasions

VisionWrights is not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated content. Always verify AI responses against authoritative sources.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, code, visualizations, analysis, aggregations, and editorial content are the intellectual property of VisionWrights and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our written permission.

The underlying federal data displayed on the Platform is in the public domain and is not claimed as proprietary by VisionWrights. Our intellectual property rights apply to our analysis, presentation, and value-added processing of that data.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to extract data from the Platform at scale without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems
  • Use the Platform to transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
  • Misrepresent Platform data or VisionWrights' analysis as your own work
  • Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law
  • Redistribute dashboard content, assessment tools, or AI query results for commercial purposes without authorization

8. User Accounts

Certain features of the Platform may require registration or authentication. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for an extended period.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

VISIONWRIGHTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF VISIONWRIGHTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL VISIONWRIGHTS' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VisionWrights and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including federal government data portals and partner organizations. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users via email.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
